Make Good & Mend

Abi recently reupholstered an antique chair for me and I was delighted with the result. Hers is high quality, traditional upholstery work, and I would highly recommend her.

Abi recovered our 1970s sofa which needed reviving. Abi provided excellent advice regarding fabric choice, collected and delivered as promised and, even more importantly, did a beautiful job. The sofa is now plump, beautifully recovered and looks better than new. It is also very comfortable.

Abi is highly skilled, she knows her way round an industrial sewing machine and is a dab hand at fine stitching. Her eye for colour and form matched with her passion for recycling means Abi produces beautiful pre loved pieces that sit comfortably in modern and classic homes. She Re upholstered my (beige and brown ,) grandmas chair and I know it would have pleased my Momma, as the chair sits with my decor like a pimped up proud new piece. I’m a huge fan of denim, wool and textiles. Beautiful and full of personality.
