Professional and reliable plumbing and heating services in the North East area. We carry out repairs and maintenance of all gas appliances and installation of new systems.

We carry out repairs and maintenance of all gas appliances, installation of new systems and appliances and repairs and maintenance of plumbing items such as radiators and taps. We also carry out installations and servicing of air conditioning, heat pump and thermodynamic systems where customers can take the benefits of the current RHI (renewable heating incentive) government tariff rebates. We service and maintenance domestic appliances such as boiler, thermal store and unvented cylinders. We are qualified Gas Safe engineers for domestic systems and LPG systems used in holiday homes and rural properties. We are qualified to install and maintain unvented pressurised hot water cylinders.

Fantastic Service A Plumber In Tynemouth Which I would Highly Recommend

I can honestly say that Richard from Macoun is a credit to his profession. I had a new boiler fitted at home. Not only did he do a fantastic job but he also managed to fit a more powerful expensive boiler for the same price. He is 100% trustworthy and i had no problem in allowing his to get on with the work whilst i was out of my home. Definitely a plumber who you can trust. Richard was recommended to me from friends who live in Tynemouth.

Boiler Repair

The guy is a con artist who overcharges. Even if he is at your property for 10 minutes he will charge for for a full hour. If he is there for 1 hour 1 minute he will charge you for 2 hours.
Loves ripping you off this guy so I would advise looking elsewhere.

Speedy and Efficient service at sensible price

I called Macoun to arrange for a full service of a central heating boiler in a rental property in Jesmond and the work was carried out the next day . Richard provided me with a 3 page report backed up with photographs of the remedial work that he had to carry out to make sure the boiler complied with current regulations and to enable him to issue me with the necessary landlords safety certificate. I have used many heating engineers over the last 10 years but none have been as professional as Macoun in terms of service, price and fantastic communication throughout...Would have not hesitation in recommending to others.
