My name is Christopher Macleod (Chris) and I was born and brought up in Lochinver, just a short distance from Ullapool. Having been a driving instructor in the highlands for 5 years, and Edinburgh for 2, I have the necessary experience to get you through your test! I am enjoying the challenges of tutoring students and guiding them through their test in Edinburgh's beautiful and busy city environment.

My aim is to help you exceed test standard as soon as possible and to make you a safe and confident driver for life. I draw on my experience to tailor your learning around you in a professional yet, friendly and relaxed environment. Let me be your guide as we navigate through your lessons to the finish line!

Macleod Driving School utilise a custom suite of Apps on iPad and iPhone to deliver the most engaging, competitively priced driver training experience available!

I passed first time and it’s thanks to this man. Highly recommend Chris. Cannot fault his way of teaching at all. He’s almost like a Jedi from sw. serious note though, brilliant instructor👍🏻

Brilliant Instructor

I learned to drive with Chris, age 32, passing first time with only one minor. He's a great instructor - calm, patient, thorough and knowledgable. He's good at giving clear instructions on how to drive safely (and will make sure you do it!) and will transition from full instruction to independent driving as you get closer to your test. I really recommend learning to drive with him. Top man, top instructor!

Chris is a brilliant instructor, I would recommend him to anyone. He is very patient, positive and encouraging. Every lesson was relaxing and full of good humour . I passed my test first time with Chris' guidance. Great car and great price too.

Best instructor you will find in Edinburgh!

Learning to drive with Chris is one of the best decisions I have made. Chris was professional, polite and has a great knowledge of driving. The way Chris teaches is so simple and his humour makes you feel comfortable and relaxed when driving. If it wasn't for MacLeod Driving School, I would never have passed my test first time with no faults! Chris went the extra mile to catch up with me a week or so after my test to see how I was doing regarding my driving, he cares a lot about his pupils and that's why I recommend you get your lessons started with him now!
