Mike Robinson of MW Robinson Furniture is an experienced designer-maker specialising in cabinetry, furniture and all things beautiful. We are a small family-run business based in Woolwich, right by the Thames. Bespoke furniture, designed and hand crafted straight from the workshop.

Fitted or free standing, contemporary or classic designs with one-off pieces and accessories fashioned from the finest timber. If you need beautifully crafted storage solutions or a statement piece to last a lifetime, MW Robinson Furniture can fit out all areas of your home with elegant and practical design, hand finished to the highest standard.

Workshop neighbour Roger asked me to make a sturdy workbench to carve the front and back sections of the double bass instruments he makes. Constructed in solid beech with legs tapering up at 10 degrees for stability, all held together with stainless steel M12 bolts

Slices of U.K grown cherry with a cut out to fit three belgian beer bottles that will hold flowers.

Created for my own marriage to Victoria these stand around 900mm in height and have internal worm white lighting.

Distinctive, handmade furniture

We had walnut bathroom cabinets made by Mike who was great. The process was very professional and considered. Mike was always responsive and willing. He went beyond the necessary to ensure the end finish was as we have hoped.

A really good job

Michael made a floor to ceiling display cabinet to fit in one side of my chimney breast in my dining room to match the original Edwardian one on the other side of the chimney breast. He did a really good job and is very reliable and pleasant to deal with.
