5I only appointed them because they were the most enthusiastic. I made it clear to them that I wanted a modern house, it was not until I saw the first set of plans that I began to understand what they were going to do, and that my idea of modern was left in the 90’s.
Michael and Alex really know what they are doing. We definitely have more than we originally asked for because Michael kept on suggesting great ideas that I did not want to say no to. Planning permission was obtained in 3 months, they made it look easy but I know that it wasn’t.
We have not moved in yet but the house is almost finished. We can now see the transformation to our home, it is far beyond what we could have imagined.

5Michael and Alex really know what they are doing when it comes to getting planning permission. We shopped around before appointing MSK Design, and was led to believe by so many people that what we wanted could not be achieved.....this was not the case when we met Michael. Michael said that getting the planning permission we wanted would not be straightforward, he managed to argue our case with the planning department in a way that none of our friends (even our builder) thought possible!
The entire process was professionally managed and these guys really know what they are doing when it comes to construction. Great design definitely runs through the core of what these guys do, and they really do know what they are doing.

5A highly refreshing approach from a committed, down to earth local company in an age of compromised quality and lack of customer service.
The project consisted of complex planning permission and full residential refurbishnment right through to decorative interiors with elements of structural redesign.
Where other Architects had failed previously, Michael Koutra and his team were able to overturn the planning decision, saving us both time and money.
Michael was very hands on from the onset and came up with design concepts that were space saving yet imaginative.
The team exceeded our expectations and were very supportive throughout the entire refurbishment project. We would have no reservations in recommending them to family and friends alike. You would be hard pushed to find a more honest, value for money and genuinely enthusiastic company in this era.
