We live in a flood risk area which has certain requirements on the height of habitable floor levels. Previous houses built in the area prior to flood risk requirements can be much lower to the ground. We employed MS Architects to design our new dream house however the planning office at the council were determined to thwart our design which was redesigned for the planners. We finally had to go to appeal against them; MS Architects produced a very comprehensive appeal document and we won the appeal.

Our Dormer

We wanted to simply enlarge existing dormer windows to the front and rear of
our house which we thought was going to be fairly straight forward. We
engaged MS Architectural Design who explained that this was not as simple as
we thought; we had to make 2 different applications to the planning dept. MS
Architectural Design with their many years of experience got us exactly what
we wanted. Give them a call.
