The most comfortable place away from home...

In the Summer of 2005, my friend and I stayed at the Lynnwood in Bath. We were only supposed to be there 3 days and 2 nights before we went to London, but we loved it so much we ended up staying a few extra days and cutting down our time in London.
The Lynnwood was wonderful in accommodating our change of plans. The room we stayed in was beautiful, and it overlook a garden behind the house. Beds were comfy, room was spotless, and the breakfasts were huge and delicious! My friend is a very picky eater so we were originally worried about staying at a B&B where they tend to have a more limited menu. But the Lynnwood offered plenty of choices, and it was all cooked to order, and served hot and fresh.
One benefit of the Lynnwood is that it is a 10 minute walk into the center of Bath and the Roman Baths. The people running the place were kind and welcoming. I really felt like I was home while I was there. Plus, the rates were very reasonable, especially compared to some of the other places we considered staying at.
There is absolutely NO doubt that our next trip to Bath will find us staying at the Lynnwood again.
