Luna Tree

Luna Tree work directly with a community of Karen Hill Tribe silversmiths residing in remote northern Thailand. Luna Tree has been a member of BAFTS (The British Association of Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers) since 2009 and a strong fair trade ethic is at the heart of this business.

All the jewellery created for Luna Tree is worked by hand in small family ran workshops within the village and produced from fine silver into high quality, unique jewellery.

We have necklaces, earrings, studs, bangles, bracelets, rings and pendants for every budget from simple everyday items to dramatic head turning statement pieces. Contemporary in design, our jewellery is a collaboration of the Hill Tribes ancient skills teamed with modern easy to wear appeal.

Along side our jewellery collections we also have a range of artworks.

Our Elephant pictures are all high quality reproductions from the original paintings by the Thai based artist Lertsark Bangkaew. The Paintings are exclusively available within the UK only from Luna Tree. They come in two sizes and are beautifully mounted and look fantastic hung in small groups or on their own.

We stock and sell these whimsical artworks to raise money for the Save Elephant Foundation in Thailand.

Half of the profits from the sale of these artworks is donated to this amazing charity who look after thousands of animals from the elephants in sanctuary to the 100's of dogs, cats, water buffalo and horses dumped at their door. They work tirelessly on education to address the working elephant population within Thailand and to assist elephant camp directors in better practices of engagement with tourists and to enrich the welfare of these elephants.
