Lorrens Ladies Spa

This was my third visit to Lorrens and I went for an 8 day Slim Away Break. However, that didn't stop me from fitting in a serious volume of pampering. At Lorrens you are welcomed into the fold and looked after from check in to check out.

I visit Lorrens by myself, and I'm not the only one. Sometimes getting away from it all is just what you need. Many of the guests there were repeat visitors like me, and for those visiting for the first time there were requests to stay longer and a few phone calls to the office to say they'd be back a few days later. That in itself is testiment to the powers of Lorrens.

The staff are dedicated and friendly, above all always happy to assist. The food is natural and tasty and even the gym workouts are enjoyable!! Nothing is too much trouble and there is no sense of 'conveyor belt' treatment that you can find at some spas.

As for the results - weight loss, inch loss and a refound sense of well being and relaxation. What more can a girl want? Personally I think everyone should go.

One word……. AMAZING! I stayed at Lorren’s around 5 years ago and I loved it. I since returned for my hen weekend and this spa just gets better with age!!! It’s better than I remembered!!!! It’s owned by a lovely couple, Sue and Steve. I booked in advance and had quite a few requests which they met with no problems, nothing is too much for them and accommodated for everything we asked for. Also you didn’t have to wait as the response was quick. There were 11 of us and had the whole place to ourselves. The Spa is immaculate and very clean, a very homely and calm feel as soon as you arrive. Sue greeted us with the ladies and went through the plans for the day, showing us around and taking us to our rooms to change. We had itineraries of treatments with towels, fluffy robes and slippers along with bottled water for throughout the day.
The day was well organised and the treatments were to die for. The ladies are very friendly and could answer any questions or put any worries to ease. We also dined there and the food was amazing. Healthy and fresh and lots to choose from.
It was a very hot weekend so we were outside most of the time lazing by the pool on the sun loungers and swimming. The gardens were beautiful and the pool was very clean and at a lovely temperature.
In all the whole weekend was a success and everyone was impressed. Once again I can’t recommend this place enough and will be returning without a doubt.
If you are looking for something a little bit more special whether it be a hen weekend or just a relaxing break with your friends then look no further people!!!!!!! 5* from me!!!

I went to the Lorrens for a hen weekend and all I can say is how nice it was to relax! I have two children at home so I was very much looking forward to having a nice break away to relax. I had four treatments while I was there - Hot Stone Massage, Head Massage, Facial and a pedicure and each one was absolutely lovely. We also had our lunch, dinner and breakfast there and I cannot fault any of it, it was delicious. Our room where we stayed was very clean and tidy and all the ladies were very accommadating, anything we needed was not a problem at all.
We had use of the swimming pool also which was brilliant! It was nice to cool down in the pool in between treatments!
All in all this was one of my best weekends ever and I highly recommend this spa. I will definitely be going back again as it was very good value for money.

My thrid visit to The Lorrens was every bit as good as my first two visits. From the time you arrive until you leave, you are thoroughly spoiled, what a way to spend the week - a very comfortable room, delicious food, the most friendly staff who do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I really can't put into words just how good this place is, you need to go & experience it for yourself. You come away feeling like a different person & if you've chosen the "Slimaway" package, you leave pounds lighter as well! Can't wait until I go again!

Friendly, unpretentious, spotlessly clean and with NO HIDDEN EXTRAS, Steve and Suzanne have got it absolutely right at Lorrens.

Sure, there are larger and more glamorous spas but, if there were a prize for a business' ability to retain customers, Lorrens would surely win it. Over 80% of clients return, most returning many times over many years.
