Do not use this company. They are no longer checkatrade approved due to the fact that they charge for parts and do not deliver. I paid over £300 for a part and have not heard from them again. Will be going through a small claims court.

HOPELESS ...

Steve came out to fit my new hob as my old one was faulty but still partly working. When he connected the new one it didn’t work . There was a nearby plug but the switch was stuck. However he overlooked that, said the hob was faulty and put my old one back, but then that didn’t work either.
He charged me £79 and advised I get an electrician in.
Before he came I had a partially working hob but when he left nothing worked .
I called an electrician who immediately said the plug was the problem, he changed it , replaced the new hob and all was fine.
As I had to pay twice I emailed Steve from London & Kent Appliance Care requesting a refund of £40. I’m still waiting for a response!

This company failure to make good or contact me following problems with their repair

Your engineer did not have the correct wattage element to fit to our oven when he arrived. Instead he fitted one with a higher wattage. The oven is now fusing all the immediate area around the kitchen as soon as it reaches a heat level. I have tried countlessly to contact the company but all I get is a message telling me they will forward my call and number to the company with a text to let them know I have called. Should I be contacted following this I will write a further message. I don't have much hope!!!

Disappointed and misinformed

After paying £65 call out we were told that our fridge freezer just needed a maintenance repair of a gas top up costing £55, this did not work. Called engineer back only to be told that nothing is guaranteed and that we had an oil blockage which the gas did not push through so is non repairable. Only offer we had then was to put in more gas which we felt was pointless. Not once was I told that it's not guaranteed to work otherwise I may of thought twice about having it done, the engineer left my property saying that he's convinced it would work. Feel really upset, and deceived, was also told that they did me a favour attending on a Saturday when I have seen that they normally do work Saturdays anyway. After another independent engineer called us he advised that if an American fridge freezer needs gas then it would not last for long afterwards, again something we were not told before we handed over our money to this company. Will not be using again unfortunately.

Very reliable,which you dont get a lot nowadays. Didnt give us promises that they couldnt keep. Engineer was very knowledgable and helpful, Nice guy. Will definatly uses them again and highly recommend them
