Someone was with me within half an hour, cheerful, skilful and great value for money - was able to repair the lock casing rather than replace - much appreciated.

It’s very rare that I do reviews, however this is the exception. Over the last eighteen months I have had two locksmiths in to sort out our front door lock, neither of whom solved the problem.

I called “Lock Stock and Barrel” and Dorian came the following day at 08:00 and stripped the existing lock down.

He was very professional as well as being very knowledgable. He identified the problem as the wrong barrel that as used previously, which he replaced

Based on my previous experiences, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, and Dorian to sort out any problems experienced with door locks. I asked for three extra keys, he went back to his shop and returned with them within a couple of hours, that’s what call service.

Dorian the locksmith, who was very friendly, professional and helpful, attended our property in the early hours at record time to fix our front door which wouldn't lock. He diagnosed the problem almost instantly, clearly explained the issue to us then replaced the mechanism which he very suprisingly had onboard. He then told us the price which was more than fair and even had a card machine to hand that was extremely convenient for us. We would most definitely recommend him to anyone, for the first time we didn't actually feel like we were being ripped off in any way. Dorian knows everything there is to know about locks, a true master in the field. He is also a genuine craftsman and continued to work on several locks until things were operating just perfectly. He has a lifetime of experience behind him, I have even suggested he write a book - because he has some truly fantastic stories from his years in the trade.
