Shocking service

As an approved VW dealer, I was really disappointed with the service provided. Took car in for pre-arranged warranty work. Dropped off car at 8.15am. Their so called technician moved the car to a different spot in their yard, till 3.15pm, than it was washed?. I rang to see how it was going and they told me that they had done diagnostic and could not hear the humming noise and that they had test driven car. So they wanted to keep car for another day, after complaining, they informed me that they could hear the noise and could not find a fault. Further investigation would be required that may lead to additional cost. I decided to take car home. Luckily dash cam had recorded all the events of the day and proved that they had not done anything to the car apart from wash it. Rang next day and complained, lady took my comments and said that it was referred to a manager who would ring me in the afternoon. Nothing happened. If you are the manager of this branch have the guts to ring me

Worst experience I've had with a car dealership

Took my car here after my engine management light came on, it was booked in athe 10am and took 4 hours or so for them to run disgnostics after which they told me they'd have to replace a glow plug which is £115 for labour and the part etc total... went to collect my car at 3pm and they informed me the mechanic has snapped the glow plug due to it being siezed so they'd need it overnight... the next day I received a call to say that to repair it now it would cost... £1400!!! For their mistake! Couldn't get a courtesy car, no offer of compensation, lost 2 days or work for it as well. I took my car there to get it fixed and all they did was make it worse and ask for £1400 for the privilege of it. Disgusting. Never go there

Never ever use Listers Coventry

I wish I'd taken note of the previous 1 star review on here. I have also had a really bad experience with the staff at Listers. Pretentious and money grabbing with no regard for their customers. I'd recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Their Listers garage at the end of the road is not focused in Customer's Satisfaction. I left the park to be repair there, they receive the 90% of the payment before starting the repair, and a check with confirmation on the other 10% when they started the job.
They won't release the car to THE CUSTOMER until the money is in their pockets, even with the confirmation of the payment from the Insurance company and having got the 90% from the beginning.
Definitely, they don't care about the customer, only about them.... SAD!

Interesting reading above! I was on the point of buying a new passat phev and booked a test drive with salesman MAHMUD RAHMAN...who didn't know much at all - how the grant for the home charging point worked (it comes off the cost of the car FYI) and all my other q he kept referring me to the brochure he'd emailed! Took day off work for test drive. ..told hour before the car wasn't available. Emailed him back three times as he didn't come back with a new date... no acknowledgement. Suffice to say my next car won't be a vw. If they treat potential customers wanting to spend money like this how will you be treated after you've bought a car from them?!
