Question on Avalon Pride Peach

3
Hello, as anyone purchased the Avalon Pride peach tree from Lincolnshire fruit? If so please can you tell me does the fruit start flat like donut peaches? All my 4 fruit on the tree is flat and small but all the pictures I have seen show round large fruit on the Avalon Pride, so I'm thinking I have a saturn peach tree instead. Please let me know.

Thank you for the feedback, Unusually cooler and wet weather can prevent the fruit from growing to the expected size, especially on a small young tree. Compared to the flat peaches, your fruits are more round from the photographs we have seen. In time, larger fruits will develop.

meger plant arrived

2
i was looking for some plants for my pond and i decided on some hiburis vulgaris... these suppliers showed they had some, so i bought some... when the arrived what i got was a root with three straggly stems about 4inches long... ok, they will grow was my thought..... so i planted the root in a pot and submerged it in the pond and watched for some growth. after a couple of weeks they did in fact die. so i wasnt impressed with this company, they might be a family business, but i doubt if they would have given a family member the meger plant i got.
im not impressed at all, i never went back.
