Leicester Animal Aid

Leicester Animal Aid is a dog and cat rescue and rehoming centre based in Huncote, Leicestershire founded in 1956.

We are open from 10am to 2:30pm every day (except Christmas Day) and our site includes four public kennel blocks, a cattery, charity shop, education centre, reception (including shop) and our cattery shop too.

You can visit to view the dogs from Thursday to Tuesday, on Wednesdays we have "Meet your Match Wednesdays" which are extra special. We bring potential dog matches to you in an exercise area to help you find your new best friend! It also gives our more shy dogs a day off.

If you are interested in rehoming a dog or cat, please call or complete an "interested parties form" on our website. We work hard to match you with a dog or cat that suits you and your lifestyle. If we don't currently have a dog or cat that's right for you, we will contact you when we do.
