On the last piece of work the original quote was reduced by a third. This was because the issue was not nearly as bad as initially thought so they only charged for the work that was needed. Very honest and efficient. Thank very much.

I wanted to have an extension built and didn’t really know anyone in the area, as we are new to it. So I asked for help on Facebook and had a few people recommend this company. I was worried about dodgy builders, but I could not be more wrong about this company. They were outstanding. Vicky who deals with the quotes is very down to earth and friendly and James who is the same too, now I know to be the owners. I couldn’t afford to pay in one lump sum, they completely understood and we sorted out a payment plan. Their workers are hard working and genuine. Ledbury Construction did the groundworks and built the single storey extension to my cottage in Upper Colwall. I was really happy with the service they provided. It's not easy having workmen around day in day out but they were all fantastic - helpful, considerate, cheerful, punctual and tidy. Any tricky aspects of the work eg blending the old building with the new (the cottage is quirky and no wall is straight) and making sense of the terrible electrics ,was done with professionalism and sound knowledge. I was kept informed of the progress being made and expected timescales, and any queries were answered promptly and patiently. So thank you. I am really pleased with the result. People remark upon the fact that the extension looks as though its always been here as it has retained the character of the original. Repaired a small section of damaged external render for me - happy with the work. They were easy to deal with, came out to quote quickly, price seemed pretty reasonable and they were able to do it within a month or so. Good communication via phone and e-mail, and the guy who came to do the work was a friendly bloke who got on with the job efficiently. Pleased to have found trustworthy builder, would use again.
