Originally started my driving lessons with another driving school (in Colchester) but soon moved due a lack of progression with my previous instructor. The minute I started lessons with Mike it all began to click. His lessons are so clear, and really prepare you for your test! I struggle with my focus but he was amazing at keeping me on task and focused on the road whilst creating a calm and funny environment. A really good instructor would recommend a thousand times. Will really miss my lessons :)

I can highly recommend Mike. We heard of him from word of mouth through a friend who had also passed with him. He was my daughter’s first driving instructor. He was in our opinion a great teacher, my daughter always had a laugh with him whilst learning to drive as he is so down to earth and friendly. I’m so pleased we found him. My daughter passed first time so was a brilliant experience for her from start to finish. We really couldn’t recommend him enough. 5 stars from us.

The man who helped me achieve greatness!

Before meeting Mike I had two driving instructors that really didn’t adapt to my learning style. Just as I was losing hope on passing my driving test at the age of 25, I met Mike and he was an absolute breath of fresh air. Mike was calm, knowledgable and taught me exactly what I needed to pass my car driving test. Mike is a fantastic listener and he made me feel calm, confident in my ability and motivated to achieve the next milestone I needed in my life. Without Mike, my motivation and love for driving wouldn’t exist! Top instructor and awesome guy too! Legend!

Having been his student, I'm pleased to recommend Mike from League One Driving School. He offers top-notch training and has a personable manner that makes the lessons both enjoyable and informative. He is thorough in his instruction and goes the extra mile to give you the best chance of passing your test. Highly recommend!

Mike is a great instructor, so reassuring if and when something goes wrong, amazing at helping you remember everything you need for your test. Would 100% recommend him.
