Changed the gas and electric meters without my knowledge when I was in the United states, I ended up with a 300 pound gas bill for one month at the end of my tenancy even though I wasn't in the property. Refuses to acknowledge they changed the meters and they took readings 2 days after tenancy expired.

No real problems while living in the property but leaving was a nightmare.

The experience with Leaders was horrible. The house was in unfortunate hygienic conditions and they did not let us visit it beforehand. Once the rent was paid in advance, the house could hardly be lived in and they did not help us at all. There was an infestation of insects in the bathroom and we were advised to buy products ourselves. A bed was broken and a person spent days sleeping on the floor. Not to mention the dirt in the house.

The people who work at Leaders have no empathy or interest in helping (Jessica Masterton).

I do not recommend to anybody.

We rented with leaders Cambridge in 2021. The initial experience was horrendous. Not going into those details now we are about to leave the property. First of all Leaders forced us pay every month for ‘No Deposit option’ saying that the landlord wanted it. The landlord of our property is an absolute gentleman. He obviously dint even have a say in it. NDO is a scam and the money directly went in Leader’s pockets. They have a history of doing this to the tenants.
Another ordeal which hasn’t ended yet- they are forcing us to pay for the ‘professional cleaning’ at the end of the tenancy.
According to Tenants fees act 2019- “You cannot require a tenant to pay for a professional clean when they check-out.
So no, you can’t enforce cleaning fees anymore (for rentals in England).If you do charge your tenant with one, you can be penalised with hefty fines starting from £5,000 (which is the max penalty for breaching the Tenant Fees Act)
Whether it helps us.. yet to be seen.

Will try to COERCE you into their "NDO" no deposit agreement and other unnecessary add-ons. As well as try to get you to post 5 star reviews.

WASTE OF TIME, scammers, don't clean their properties and take off with your money.

Renting in Cambridge sets the bar low, but Leaders managed to put the bar in the depths of h*ll.
Absolutely no professionalism, staff are incompetent and unhelpful. Customer service next to non-existant. NDO is a scam - unsure how they've managed to operate, guess a captured audience.
