My name is Lewis Cook, and I am a Level 2 WPBSA Snooker coach and SightRight accredited Level 1 coach, with over 15 years of experience and a passion for the game. I offer tailored coaching for both adults and children; all abilities are welcome - whether you're starting your snooker journey or are confident in your abilities and just need a new challenge, I coach everyone - from beginners to advanced in both 1-2-1 sessions and groups.

I have worked with the world’s best coaches and have all the tools needed to play the game effortlessly. Using modern day methods to improve your game and the best training aids on the market, you will be sure to go to the next level.

Whether you want to improve your technique, learn how to sight correctly, improve your high break or improving your overall performance, I'm here to help you reach your goals. Sessions are flexible, and based in Worthing - I can travel to you across West Sussex. Let’s work together to elevate your game!

He has transformed my game

I have been playing snooker for over 40 years and had pretty much resigned myself to the level I had plateaued. I put intended right-hand side on all shots which caused me to miss easy shots and I used so much concentration on making pots, I didn’t have much brain space left for any consideration on position (AND I would miss the pot!). Lewis was recommended by a friend and I AM SO GLAD that he did. He changed the way that I walk into shots and it has pretty much fixed the unintended side. He highlighted that my bridging distance was too long and slowed down my backswing and it has transformed my game. I have rediscovered my love of the game and I don’t panic when I get a break building opportunity. And a nice guy too. I highly recommend him!

Perfect beginner crash course

Lewis's crash course immediately improved my lack of snooker skills from the get go. From stance through to working on tricky potting angles all in two, 2 hour sessions !
Lewis provides everything (yes even a cue) and caters to all. So I highly recommend this if you're new to snooker or looking to improve from whatever skill range you come from.

Take advantage of having a WST qualified coach on your door step (West Sussex).

Lewis is a five star coach. He is clear, concise, constructive and always positive. He certainly knows the the business of the baize and I always look forward to our sessions.

Very good!

Loved my first session with Lewis. I had developed bad habits over years of no coaching. Within 30 mins or so I was lined up straight and hitting the ball well. I'd highly recommend him, I have told friends who play, so hopefully he can develop even more so. I'd also say he's a top guy, easy to chat to. All the best lewis with coaching, looking forward to more sessions!

First snooker lesson

First snooker lesson for 2 hours yesterday. Really helpful and learnt a lot from the Sightright techniques….wish I done it 2 years ago when I first started paying! The Lewis’ coaching style was very relaxed and explained himself clearly. Highly recommend 👍
