Piano lessons for beginners of all ages through to advanced students up to Grade 8. Study towards ABRSM exams or learn just for fun. Also, music theory to Grade 5.
I am an experienced piano teacher with a well established reputation gained over 20 years. My students have a 100% success rate in their ABRSM exams. I have also enjoyed teaching beginners of 4 to 70 years of age who choose to learn just for fun, and am committed to each student gaining confidence through their musical progress. Although classically trained I am pleased to teach other genres and can adapt to create lessons that suit the individual. I teach in my own home or will visit you in yours.

Excellent piano teacher in Ottershaw

I have had lessons with Laura for 19 years. She is an excellent teacher with many years experience . Her lessons are fun and we cover many different genres of music including Classical, Romantic, Jazz and Modern pieces. Over the years with Laura’s guidance and expertise I have achieved Grade 8 level.
I would highly recommend Laura as a teacher for both adults like myself or children.

Brilliant and Engaging

Laura is a brilliant and engaging teacher!! I picked up piano in my late 40s after a break from playing for nearly 25 years due to "life getting in the way". I look forward to my lessons and her wonderful teaching techniques. Truly recommend for any man, woman or child - beginners, rusty players, through to advanced 8 graders who want a refreshing way of approaching the instrument!

Exceptional piano teacher

Laura really is an exceptional piano teacher, I've been with her for over 20 years now, I started when I was about 3/4 years old. She has given me the confidence to get through all my ABRSM exams and really helps you get the best out of yourself. Lessons are always enjoyable, challenging, and taught to the highest standard. I can not recommend her highly enough. There is nothing she doesn't know about music.

An amazing teacher

My son who is 11 years old has been taking piano lessons with Laura for over two years and in that time she has not only taught him amazing piano skills and techniques but also has instilled in him a true appreciation for music. He really looks forward to his visit with her each week and it is truly lovely to see him skip to her door. His piano lesson is one of the highlights of his week and afterwards he loves to share with me all that he has done and learnt. Laura is great with him; she has high standards and expects regular practice to happen. She creates an environment that is friendly and inspiring and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a great piano teacher.
