i had i week in bath on business, and found the lampost very central, within easy walking distance of the shops bars etc .had an great nights sleep .found the host most helpful. rooms were comfortable with digital tv free wi fi and no annoying kids???

The other reviews must have stayed somewhere else! Lamppost Villa in Bath is one of the best B&B's I have stayed in.; I travel a lot and spend 200 nights a year in B&B's, the owner does not have any young children and is a charming and delightful host; the breakfast was definitely first class; I think the reviews on www.lamppostvilla.com reflect more accurately the welcome and comfort you will receive.

When arrived had a feeling of dread and thought we'd give it a go as had booked in advance. Room terrible, wires 10" from head whilst sleeping. Ripped blinds, mouldy fridge, dodgy tv. Breakfast a joke - as was owners attitude. Increased price on arrival.

Not a quiet stay, owners have a very unruly and annoying child, not what i call fun.
