Set in a prime location within the Lake District, in the bustling tourist town of Bowness-on-Windermere, we are both a cosy indoor bar and an outdoor garden bar set over 2 terraces overlooking Lake Windermere.

An ideal place for families, couples, big groups and your furry friends, we serve teas, coffees, craft ales, cocktails, specialist spirits and all your usual tipples as well as a feast of food, from a Full Cumbrian Breakfast ‘Farm to Fork’, and Fish & Chips, to a Giant Blooming Onion, pizzas, loaded fries, local ice cream and a classic Sticky Toffee pudding – all with the option to takeaway as well as eat in.

It's the kind of place you go to when you want to escape from the chill in the winter months in our cosy inn, or and bask in the sun on our large outdoor terraces in the summer months, with some of the best views in the Lake District whatever the weather. We don't take table bookings, so there's no need to book—just come along! We offer a wide range of drinks available, including lager, craft ales, wine, bubbles & fizz, specialty gins, soft & hot drinks.

The Garden Bar at is home to the best live music with a view in the Lake District. Hosting live music every Friday evening (and sometimes Saturday’s in the summer) - It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and unwind over live music whilst the sun goes down. We’ve hosted everything from Irish folk bands, acoustic solo artists, to house DJs & sax players. So whatever your music taste, we have something for everyone.
