Hi, my name is Laura Allen, I’m Head of Instruction at LA Driving School. Having always loved driving, when I had an unfortunate accident whilst training to be a nurse I wanted to combine that love with my passion for helping people and caring nature. Remembering my own driving instruction, where I was petrified by just being put behind the wheel and told to ‘drive’, I wanted to offer learners a woman’s touch; a calm and friendly environment to make learning an enjoyable experience. So many of my learners, on passing their test, ask if they can carry on paying me to drive around with them! I started out in the industry 6 years ago, picking up my ORDIT qualification along the way, before long was able to set up my own school to ensure you get the best instruction possible.

As a mum of three with a child who suffers from ADHD, I am well equipped to deal with students who may need that bit of extra care & attention, so please do not hesitate to contact me for a chat or appointment.
