I was a beginner with no martial arts experience when I joined neary 4 years ago and was welcomed in open arms to a friendly, patient and very knowledgeable teacher. Even coloured belts students were helping with sharing their advice and their knowledge. Very friendly classes! Starting as a white belt all the way through to brown level 3 and working towards black belt I have became more flexible, strong, confident, and it has even improved my mental strength and memory. I have become self disciplined and at peace and found more meaning and fulfillment to my life. The classes are small and children and adults have separate classes. It has made my life change for the better and I strongly recommend this school as it is the best in the whole of the Westcountry! There are no hidden costs and it will be the best decision of your life!

I started Taekwondo at KMAA about 5 years ago and enjoy it so much. The group are very friendly and we all benefit from Dave’s outstanding experience and patience. I have grown in confidence as well as skill thanks to KMAA.

It's hard to write a short review as there are so many things to say, all positive! My brother started Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Kickboxing with Dave over 10 years ago with my mother following in the kickboxing about 5 years ago. My son started Tae Kwon Do with Dave 2 years ago and I can honestly say I've been so impressed by his quick learning, improved confidence and eagerness to continue. In fact it's the only club that my son has pursued consistently! Dave has an approachable, friendly and professional manner and will ensure any new member feels welcomed and understands the martial arts before committing. My son is extremely proud of attending and always astounds me when he shows me all of his patterns. I feel this is indicative of a great teacher. I can't recommend highly enough!
