Excellent Service

It is always such a pleasant experience when shopping at Kitchenalia. The ladies always greet you when you walk into the store and there is never any pressure to buy as you are just left alone to browse the vast array of products they sell, however the ladies are very knowledgeable if you need their help. It is so nice to get good old fashioned customer service which can be so very hard to come by these days.

I do not agree with the review that was previously written by another customer. Kitchenalia is one of the most welcoming and observant shops I have been too. The staff are helpful, warming and open to show me how their products work. They always manage to understand what item I'm looking for without even describing the item correctly they know what I want. I have never been ignored. I've purchased many products from kitchenalia and I will continue to shop there as they provide a top class customer service. There hasn't been a time where they don't recognise me or ask me how I get on with the products I've purchased. They provide a professional and personal service. This is a shop you have to visit when shopping. Its quirky, fun and very vintage lots of cake stuff but loads of must have products.

The shop itself is beautiful, filled with everything you could think of for cooking and baking as well as gifts and great ideas, like the silicon lids that self stick to glass, porcelain, metal etc. I was tempted by a lot.
That said, I was not impressed that not one person came to see if I needed anything. I often go into shops to test them out and wear somewhat scruffy clothes or maybe something I might exercise in, no makeup and nothing much done with my hair. I think, in this case, if I had walked in looking well off and well dressed, I would have had help almost immediately. I didn't even get a hello! Not good ladies!
Another staff member arrived and they all started chatting loudly about someone's new baby. Again, I was completely ignored. Not only was I ignored, if I was a shoplifter I could have had a field day! I don't know if the owner was there but if he/she was, they need to rethink how they do things. If not, they need to know that their staff are missing a big trick here. I would have bought a load of things if I hadn't been ignored completely. It was like I was invisible. No amount of nice products make up for bad service.
When I worked in very high end retail we often had extremely rich clients come in who looked like tramps. You can't afford to ignore anyone who comes into your shop.

Dear M Hanley,
From all read I can surely assume that you have your own issues to solve. You do sound a bit show offy. If the women behind the till were inattentive that's bad for their business, why do you care? I do have a theory that in times when every device we own keeps chanting how great we score, for people with confidence issues being ignored it could become a reason for 11 written lines of whining. well, people are different...
