Kirk Radio Exeter Ltd

Despite the answering machine saying that they'll call you back - they don't.
As per another reviewer, I wasn't given a receipt for the CD player I dropped off. I don't know if I'll ever see it again, or if they'll bother to return my calls, or read this review.

I was familiar with Kirk Radio from my time living in Exeter some 30 years ago, and was very pleased to see them still trading. I rang them a week before Christmas to ask them to align and connect a Freesat system for my mother in Exminster, that i had failed to accomplish! and despite being very busy due to the seasonal rush, they were very understanding and made sure it was done in time for her Christmas TV viewing. They even gave her a tutorial and set up some recordings for her.
From start to Finish they were friendly,helpful,courteous and professional.

Well Done Kirk Radio, an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Went to the major hi fi outlets looking for suitable equipment to link to my existing hi fi. Came away from all of them none the wiser, nobody knew any more than I did.
Then I called into Kirk Radio, I was given loads of information and advice, good old fashioned service from people who know their business.
I ended up making a purchase which works perfectly with my existing system.
Highly recommended!!!!!

Had to take my Radiator here as the manufacturer advised this was the nearest repair company to me.

Dropped off to the lady after being ignored for several minutes by who I imagine to be the ladies husband.

No receipt given for my goods to say they have it, thought this was a little strange as other companies I have had dealings with give you some form of paperwork.

I was told it be repaired hopefully within 7 days or 2 weeks.

I have past this shop most days over the past week and the radiator remained in the same position I left it?

Decided to call up after nearly a week update, the lame lady answered and I just asked what was going on with the radiator.

I was told it had not even been looked at, this lady had an attitude from the start because I was asking after my item, not good!

I was told they only have one engineer, I'm fine with that! and he will look at the radiator tomorrow (Sunday) a day they don't list to be working??

Advised the lady I was not impressed and at this point I was told I could collect it if that's what I wanted to do!

Wasted a week, poor service and attitude and this company seems to be old fashioned.

I can not recommend this business at all and I would never trust them with anything.

I will be contacting the manufacturer to advise that this company is not equipped to efficiently deal professionally with their repairs under warranty.

Shambles of a company, I will go back to the point of sale to get my item replaced.

I was looking for some help and advise on how to Turn my HD TV into a Smart TV And the advise given was really useful.

I also needed some leads and accessories for my audio equipment and there was a great selection to choose from.

Reasonable prices with good old fashioned customer service.
