Kendal Tree Surgery is run by Mark Hendy and a team of experienced and highly qualified staff. Mark qualified as a tree surgeon in 1983. Now, with over 30 years’ experience, Mark has a wealth of knowledge and a real passion for the job, we will find the best solution to suit your needs.

We cover all aspect of tree care, and garden maintenance. All work undertaken will be finished to the highest standard and all waste recycled. We are also members of the Arboricultural Association.

We pride ourselves in providing a professional and competitive tree service. You will find our friendly staff professional and respectful of your property.

The second time we’ve had Mark back to take care of our trees. He took his time to do a really thorough job of a laurel which had suddenly got really out of control, and bring a large cherry and plum trees back into shape. All trees left looking in really good condition and well cut and shaped. Mark’s love of his job and attention to detail is a real asset as he takes care to make sure the end result looks good with very neat cuts. He also took great care to clean up afterwards, particularly making sure there was no mess left when trees overhung neighbour’s properties - we were very grateful for the bonus strimming of the weeds on the driveway too! Very lucky to have such an experienced professional available locally and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Avoid this company if you don’t want your garden ruined!

If I could choose 0 stars I would. Kendals tree surgery were employed by local authority to remove trees, stumps, waste and replace with a fence in my garden. Their equipment wouldn’t fit and I was told by Kendals that it was too much hard work to bring equipment that would fit. They didn’t remove the stumps or waste and tried to hide it by burying it. Now I am unable to grow anything even grass. I’ve been left with 20 tons of pure mulch branches wood chip and chunks of tree trunk on top of good soil. I have been quoted thousands to have it rectified. They also broke a number of items in the garden which they said would be compensated for and haven’t. Reported to trading standards.

Removal of tree and trimming back of a large bush.

Second time I have used this company and again I am very happy with the job. Mark is clearly an expert in his field, he carried out the job quickly and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again. Highly recommended. Thanks Mark
