Can’t thank them enough
I required a DPF clean on a Jaguar E-pace on the 16/11/22. I was charged £100 for a "System Update" plus vat. I have spoken with alternative Carbon Cleaning company's that informed me that they have never heard of a "System Update" & any updates are usually free! I spoke with the manufacturer to confirm this.
It would appear that I have been charged for a service that possibly did not exist!. I made a formal complaint in writing to the Garage on 09/01/23 which they received on 10/01/23 (Royal Mail tracking ID:NE868096445GB). It took until the 14/01/23 to receive a call from the Garage. Unfortunately as a formal complaint had been made a phone call was not suitable to deal with the complaint as I needed a written response detailing what a "System Update" was & proof it was carried out.
7 days have passed & the Garage has not answered or provided any written response to my complaint made.

I took my car to Karl as he had previously replaced the ECU on my vehicle.
On this occasion, Karl had my car for 2 weeks to try and sort out the problems, but throughout this time, he kept me updated as to what he had found and what it was likely to cost. It was not a straight forward repair.
I got the car back and I have just returned from a week in Scotland, touring the east coast. The car is sublime. I am absolutely delighted with the work Karl did on my vehicle and the service he provided. The car is better now than when I bought it 18 months ago.
I am told that Karl's nickname is Merlin. Well deserved in my opinion.
