Juniper Photography

I’ve been taking pictures my whole life. Of friends, of families, of special events and of every day. In every group of friends I’ve had, I’ve been known for capturing those pictures that help us remember what we’ve been up to. They’re not always brilliant, but they tell a story of normal, wonderful life, where the every day beauty is often overlooked. Over the years, many people have told me that they feel I have a good eye for it, that I capture something in my photos that is a bit special. Well, I’ve decided to take the plunge and see if I can do the same for other families.

I don’t want to take pictures of your kids dressed up in their smartest, scratchy clothes. I don’t want them to look nice, to be clean, or to keep quiet. I want fun, silly and even grumpy pictures that show who you really are. Pictures that you can look back on and say ‘that was a great day’, or ‘do you remember how he always used to pull that face?’. I want to photograph something about your family that you know so well, but aren’t always able to capture yourself.

Let me spend a little time with you, your family, your kids’ friends, and just observe while you carry on doing your thing. I might be able to grab a few pictures that show exactly who you are, and why you love each other so much.
