Jungle Jacks Castles Ltd

Amidst last minute preparations for my daughter’s birthday and with an arranged drop-off time of 10am, I received a text at 9:33am to say the van was broken down, and they were waiting on a mechanic and looking to arrange a replacement. This is as may be (though I note the van seems to have “broken down” 3 or 4 times at least in the last year or so), but I’m afraid the poor rating here comes from the fact the company completely ignored ALL my calls and texts asking whether or not we could collect the castle or arrange a van ourselves, and I still have heard nothing further from them. Fortunately another fantastic company came to our aid and delivered a castle within 30 minutes of calling, so the party was not ruined (though it very easily could have been by this very late-notice issue). The gentleman who provided the replacement castle informed me that he has heard of several other customers being let down last minute by Jungle Jacks, and I’m inclined to believe him.

Let down on the day leaving 50 disappointed children. When the weather turned bad I messaged & rang 2 days before saying I wanted it on the playground instead with sandbags instead of the grass. Turned up on the day late & clearly without sandbags saying everyone had asked for them so it had to go on grass. He said it was too far for a 25m extension but I said I had extra ones handy. He left saying he was going to check for more sandbags or ask a friend & would get back to me. I just got a text message saying he couldn't get any sandbags & that adding in an extra extension wouldn't make the blower powerful enough (would have been good to know that at the time when I still had time to rearrange something else). A phone call would have gone a long way towards an apology but I guess he didn't want to hear what I had to say. If you know you might not have enough sandbags then let your customers know so they can make alternative arrangements to avoid running the day for the children

What a let down! we had booked this for a joint Birthday party and he failed to answer the phone on numerous attempts, didn’t respond to voice messages and left us high and dry on the day. What is the point in running a business that’s essentially supposed to be the highlight of a party and let everyone down? Understandably useless.

Shocking. Do not touch this company. Always gives an excuse in the response or copies and pastes a standard message. The ratings don't lie. If you care for your children then find a company with a higher rating. Another extremely disappointed group of children, another party messed up. DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE OF YOURS BEING NEXT.

I was a bit anxious (being the first time I'd booked a bouncy for 2 kids parties on consecutive days) so to be on the safe side I was reserving & communicating weeks in advance, lots of email communication.. To be fair the lady I was dealing with was really lovely, knew how important it was not to be let down, confirmed several times it was all booked and we would definitely get it delivered for the full weekend, no problem..! This just made it all the more frustrating & disappointing when on the day of party no1 just before it was due to arrive I got a text saying they were not coming and so were letting me down.
After a very stressful hour phoning round, another company stepped in at the last minute. I believe they'd stepped in for others let down previously too. They could only get to us half way through my sons party but we managed.
I've read good and bad review about this company.. I wonder if they over stretch/over comitt themselves. Shame but I won't be using them again.
