We approached JR to quote for a unique bespoke solution to our new working from home needs, namely a pair of wardrobes that cleverly fold out to double up as desk space given that our bedrooms are now large enough to house separate wardrobes/desks.

After discussing and fine tuning the project with Jim we are absolutely delighted with the end of result and the wardrobes have transformed both bedrooms as well as relieving our living room from being the ‘office’ it has been in the last 2 years.

The design and operation of the final pieces is exactly what we were looking for and when folded away the wardrobes give no clue they have the dual functionality. Furthermore all the usual fittings of the wardrobes (drawers/shelves/rails) are of an excellent quality while the finish is also as stylish as the website pictures resemble.

Jim did an absolutely wonderful job installing alcove units (cabinets and shelving) in our front room. We live in a 300 year old house with very uneven walls and he was able to navigate around this brilliantly to ensure that the alcove units were symmetrical and harmonious looking. He was able to accommodate our request for draws behind the cabinets as well as access to the electrical sockets. We were very pleased with the outcome, much better than we could have ever imagined. The finish is flawless and in keeping with the other period features in the room.

Jim has done a fantastic job building in alcove shelving in our living room and office, even matching it exactly to the shelves that were already there. They look great and we'd definitely use Jim again for other projects.

Having been delighted with the beautiful alcoves that Jim designed, built and installed for our living room we asked him to build a triple fitted wardrobe plus floating shelves for two bedrooms.
