Jon Hoyle - Driver Training

Jon is an amazing instructor- he is incredibly supportive and has helped me get from never wanting to be a driver (I wasn’t even fully comfortable as a passenger!) to passing my test first time. If you had told me a year ago that I had not only started driving but passed, I’d have thought you were joking. Every lesson felt productive and I loved being able to reflect on what I did well and what could be better. Each time I went out I felt fully supported, able to ask him anything (no question was a “silly question”) and perform to my best ability. It is this support that I believe helped me overcome my fairly severe driving anxiety to become a safe, confident driver. Jon was also a brilliant advocate, clearly explaining processes in a way which I understood but also helping me navigate driving as a neurodiverse person. I felt understood and that I could bring my full self to each lesson- I truly cannot thank him enough for his knowledge and support.

I cannot recommend Jon enough. From the very first lesson he created a calm, supportive and encouraging environment that immediately put me at ease, and made even the most challenging aspects of driving manageable. He is incredibly patient and adapted each lesson to suit my progress and areas where I needed more practice, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback. Thanks to Jon I passed my driving test with confidence on the first try, and feel fully prepared to drive independently. 10/10 experience - Thank you Jon!

Jon has been amazing teaching both my daughters how to drive on a short space of time. Both were really nervous at first and he has brought out so much confidence in them both. The app he uses is brilliant to keep us up to date where they are at too. They always come home smiling……My eldest daughter has just passed her test through Jon and I’ve every confidence my other daughter will do the same when hers is due very soon.

Jon is such a kind, patient and knowledgeable driving instructor. From the start, he put my nervous daughter at ease and gave her positive feedback and things she could work on. His calm and professional manner gave her the confidence to develop her driving skills for the real world not just for a test. We can’t thank him enough and would recommend him wholeheartedly.
