PS-11 Sony turntable repair. This man is a technical genius with wide knowledge of his subject.

I recently liberated my Sony PS-11 turntable from a 15 year sentence in my attic because I wanted to play some of my cherished vinyls again. Unfortunately, I found that after a few minutes, the platter started to slow down until eventually, even on maximum speed, it was still too slow.
I took it to John Smith in St Albans who spent some time analyzing the possible reasons why this was happening and then rectified them. He also gave it a clean and service.
It is now working perfectly and I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise.
I would recommend John Smith to anyone. He is a technical genius.

Disgusting work cannot repair

Terrible service likes to chat more than work
Did not fix problem after 2 hours in fact sound worse he could not work our issue yet charges £50 call out without informing you first then a further £35 for an hour total rip off don’t use
Plus does not answer phone always goes to answer phone
