We had a 20 year old ( favourite) leather armchair which required attention. John found the old leather arm covers were too far gone and both needed replacing with a new hide. At first we were sceptical of the cost as my wife wanted to replace it with a new recliner. As it was MY chair, I agreed with John and he went ahead with the repair. He brought the new hide round for us to check it would match with the existing before he started the work.
The next day he brought the chair back and we were taken aback with the result. Not only did it look like new but he had also installed extra springs to the base. John explained all the work he had put into the chair in a very clear way.
The chair is now better than new and I am very pleased with the outcome. A first class job. Hopefully I shall have another 20 yrs enjoying my chair.

John did a great job refilling our settee cushions and fixed the underlying frame within an agreed price and great time. He is skillful, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

I sent John a photo of some dining chairs that needed the seats reupholstering. John was quick to get back to me letting me know of the various options and cost. The quote was very competitive it was quickly quite clear that John knew exactly what was needed. The work has now been completed, quickly, and diligently John is a meticulous craftsman. The chairs are now a higher standard than they were when new. Excellent work. I would not hesitate to recommend John and his first class work. 5 stars form me.

John came over today to look at our leather corner unit. It was 17 years old and the seating had sunk. John told us what it needed and how much it would cost. We agreed to have it repaired. He stayed for six hours and completed the job. Excellent work would highly recommend.
