DO NOT BUY

1
They sell items which are used (greasy!), broken (badly visibly damaged, not just operationally defective) and missing parts.

All they do is reply to say "sorry, please use live chat or talk to customer service", only for the cycle to begin again, customer service say "oh it's sold as seen, did you not attend the viewing?" - what, in Nottingham when I'm 500 miles away? Why have an online service in the first place if your patrons clearly wouldn't be able to view (it would make no financial sense to do so when time and fuel travel costs considered).

We are getting legal advice. Quoting from online for now:

"...[if specified goods are not second hand] the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (SGA) will still apply. Under the SGA, the item must match its description, be of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If the item fails any of those standards, you have the legal right to return it for a repair, replacement or refund."

Not as described.

Do not use! You will over pay for incorrectly shown items. Then they just say see our terms and you should have come look at the goods in person. Never mind the fact goods not as described!

John Pye - Poor Show

1
It is imperative you view the auctions items before bidding. As another reviewer has said the amount of broken or incomplete items for the majority of the "collect only " items is insane. With a mixture of creative photography and angled shots it often looks like your getting a bargain when your really just getting junk . To follow on, when you do get to pickup your goods, its completely hit or miss on the wait time despite the booking system in place. 38 minutes as one person walks back and forward with goods on trolleys to the first come , first served persons and through casual conversations the person being served wasn't scheduled to collect until the next day .. go figure..

i keep seeing negative results about this company but id think its been great! it states exactly what you get, whether its new or opened or if its 'sold as seen' which i take is a warning that its at your own risk?? Out of all the items i have bought 20% hasnt worked but i have still saved a lot of money!!
