Joe's Chippy

On arrival Instant service from a guy who looked a bit fed up, but I needed time to choose. Menus inviting and easy to read so I Got myself chips curry sauce and a savaloy. Liked how there was option of curry sauces so I chose the spicy one. Was all very pleasant except the savaloy was slightly harder than usual so maybe over cooked, but still very edible. Overall pleased and prices fair!

Poor customer service, chips recently bought were raw in the middle but when I told staff I was more or less called a liar. Very poor attitude and I will never buy from there again.

I really can’t understand the bad reviews... in my experience the staff are to busy to be unprofessional.. the fish and chips are astounding and I can assure you we regularly visit the coastal hotspots, so we know good quality .... you can’t fault this fish and chip shop!!!

Terrible place and they have raised the prices as well. Greasy unfriendly place and food below par. Predict closure if things don’t change.
Saw member of staff throwing peanuts in his mouth in between serving customers. Lethal if a customer has nut allergy.
Beware people.

It's sad to see what this chippy has become. The usual guy that serves is really miserable and makes it obvious he doesn't want to be there. The fish is slimy and the batter is limp and oily. What used to be the best chips in Dinas are now just refried and old tasting. They need to buck up their ideas or us locals will just stop going.
