Jo is a genuinely lovely lady who truly knows her craft,really cares,and has gone to great lengths to help me improve the quality of my singing.Jo very professionally teaches scales,breathing techniques,how to reach the higher notes,and much more.
Jo is a patient and kind instructor,and during my lessons,She has nurtured me to get the best from my instrument(the voice),with lots of lightheartedness along the way.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jo to anyone who is aiming for a career in the Arts,or who simply wants to sing for the sheer joy of it.

From Mozart to Led Zeplin. Jo is a great teacher. An ex Opera singer who appears to enjoy the challenge of teaching all styles, beginners of all ages and talented experienced singers. She gets brilliant results and makes it Fun.

Nearly 50 years ago the school music teacher advised me to open and close my mouth but not let any sound out. To be fair he had a point, so I took his advice until Jo told me that almost anyone can be taught to sing, even me. At first if I hit the correct note it was completely by chance, and the sound was dreadful, but with great patience from Jo we have made amazing progress.

Although she has an operatic background she is happy to teach all styles and attends courses to keep up to date with modern styles and methods.

Most importantly it has been great fun with lots of laughter :)
