I have previous experience working as a sub-editor, a freelance journalist and a copywriter. My qualifications include: the Essential Proofreading course from the Publishing Training Centre (merit level); a Journalism Diploma from the NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists); and a BA Hons Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing.

I can proofread Word documents using tracked changes or PDF files using markup tools, or on paper using the British Standards Institution's (BSI) proof-correction marks.
