Based in the heart of Breckland, I offer a friendly chimney sweeping service. Booking times can be arranged to suit you, including some evening or weekend slots.

Your open fires, woodburners and stoves are all swept according to Institute of Chimney Sweeps guidelines, followed by a smoke evacuation test to check the draw.

Firm quote given before work starts and photo ID is always shown on arrival for your peace of mind.

Insurance recognised certificate issued.

I am an ICS (Institute of Chimney Sweeps) member and have AXA public liability insurance.

Jim Reade was recommended to us recently by a friend. He was very friendly and cheerful when he came to sweep our chimney and woodburner last week. The service was excellent and he left the room, hearth and woodburner looking very clean. He did a smoke test, checked our liner, asked if we had a Carbon Monoxide monitor and left us with an insurance certificate. I can't recommend him enough.

Great guy, polite and courteous. He was very tidy and professional doing a thorough job leaving the woodburner cleaner than it has been for years. I would highly recommend Jim to others and wouldn't want anyone else to do our chimney from now on.

Called Jim from the Yell advertising as my new log burner starting belching out black smoke into the room at 9pm on Thursday night. He called me back in minutes and arranged to come the following afternoon. He was a few minutes early and set to to clear any blockage. He worked quietly, efficiently and cleanly and swept the flue through; cured the problem. He was a pleasure to have in the house and did a perfect job. Thank you Jim for coming to our aid so quickly.
