Julie is a wonderfully talented dressmaker, with a fantastic eye for design, detail, style and colour. Her workmanship is superb but she also has a lovely friendly manner. The whole process was a joy and my finished 'mother of the groom' gown is stunning. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Julie designed and created a beautiful dress for my son’s wedding. Throughout the whole experience she quietly and expertly guided and advised me on style, fabrics, colour, accessories and even underwear.
The end result was just lovely, I was so lucky to find her.

Working with Julie on my wedding dress was such a joy! Julie is true professional and an absolute perfectionist. We approached her about designing a bespoke wedding dress as I wanted something unique, perfectly tailored and more affordable than a gown by a famous designer. We quickly expanded her commission to include my mum's dress and three bridesmaid dresses! Julie was so generous with her time, as we um'd and ah'd our way through the process. She was always ready to listen to new ideas, work through suggestions and lend her expert eye to whatever we put in front of her. Julie designed a show-stopping, dramatic and fun tulle overcoat/veil for me to were in the chapel. This was the most challenging part of the commission as I wasn't really sure what I wanted. Julie was able to interpret my ton of emails and photos and design something truly unique and with lots of personality. I cannot recommend JHW Couture highly enough, and will certainly be asking Julie to work with me again.
