JD Driving School is an independent, well established professional driving school and have built up a fantastic reputation over the last 33 years. We pride ourselves on our commitment to provide you with the highest level of teaching possible, and making your learning experience fun, enjoyable and rewarding. We also provide you with the best possible service at a reasonable price while also teaching you ‘safe driving for life’. We will empower you to be confident in your driving ability and to use your judgement skills and knowledge to pass your driving test at the highest standard possible.

Your time is precious, so we only focus on you and your driving; we do not use your time to drop off the previous student, ensuring we are committed to you on your lesson.

I have been a qualified driving instructor for over 33 years, having qualified in February 1991. During the past 33 years teaching, I have gained a vast amount of experience, knowledge and coaching skills in order to help you learn and pass your driving test with confidence and in the least amount of time possible.

Balv is excellent he has helped me with learning how to drive and pass my test on the first attempt. I have been with JD Driving school for a bit due to doing it part time due to work commitments but Balv is great at time management and has helped me through it.

I would highly recommend Balv to my friends and family as he is a great instructor and knows his high way code and how to teach someone how to drive from scratch.

The best instructor I could ask for!

The last 6 months have been an absolute journey with Balv. Not only did he bring me to test standard, but he taught me how to DRIVE. He is a patient, caring and knowledgeable instructor, with plenty of experience. I have no regrets learning how to drive with JD Driving School and would highly recommended them to anyone.

Balv is an exceptional instructor. He remains calm and supportive throughout lessons and ensures that he best supports you. I would definitely recommend his services. I passed first time because of his teaching!

Amazing Driving School

Would highly recommend this driving school! I was able to pass first time, even with all my doubts and fears when initially starting, Balv (the driving instructor) was so supportive, calm and patient. His teaching is of extremely high standards and it is very easy to learn and understand the information being taught.

Amazing Instructor

Balv is the best instructor I’ve had! He is reassuring and teaches you a range of ways to do manoeuvres, which I found very useful!
Balv’s was able to put my nerves at ease and is an all round great instructor!
Thank you so much for your help and I really recommend JD Driving School to anyone that wants to learn!
