We are family run garage in Heanor Derbyshire, offering a range of services from batteries to clutches, welding, repairs, diagnostics and servicing, we also specialise in servicing and repairing air conditioning systems from older vehicles to the latest new gas systems (excluding hybrid vehicles) and unlike a lot of other mechanics we can test for air conditioning leaks using nitrogen. As a company we have over 40 years' experience working with all types of cars and small vans. All of our equipment is state of the art and is serviced regularly to give you the peace of mind you car is in safe hands. Driving through town today and my van lost all power, popped into J H Autos on the off chance and the problem was diagnosed in 2 minutes (leaking intercooler hose) a replacement part was ordered and fitted within hours. Superb service, and very helpful, friendly guys. Thanks J H Autos, saved me a major headache, and as I am self employed they also saved me having to cancel jobs.

Excellent service from Pete and Dan. Professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Had a new clutch and driveshaft fitted On my car and a thermostat housing was replaced on my sisters car. I was kept informed of the issues found, the costs and the estimated time to complete the jobs involved. The removed parts were available for inspection (for those like me that like to see the broken components). I can't recommend J&H Autos highly enough. If only all garages were as reliable and trustworthy as this one

Honest and reliable!

Brilliant! Had multiple issues with my car and they were all sorted within 2 days. Everything now runs smoothly and I’m not worrying about further repairs. They even picked my car up from my home address and delivered it back to me in the space of time promised and I paid there and then by card on my doorstep! All very convieniant fantastic service!

Brilliant!

Had a problem with the suspension on my Picasso and the guys at J&H got it all done to the highest standard and kept me updated throughout. Brilliant to deal with, knowledgeable, professional and friendly service. Looking forward to dealing with them again!
