James replaced our kitchen radiator and replaced our Mira power shower, his work was clean and tidy and very helpful and left everything in good working order. I would have no hesitation in recommending James, and should I have any future problems he’s the one I shall go to, he also turns up as promised.

Completed all work as promised for a competitive price, very pleasant guy, highly recommended.

Whilst putting up a shelf, partner drilled through a water pipe. Water everywhere, partner and dogs rather damp. Mad scrabble to find local emergency plumber. On a Saturday. Rang most of the advertised numbers and was very disappointed in how many companies offered 24 hour emergency call out , but had no one available. Left voicemails on several, none called back. One local company couldn’t help until Wednesday. James Rayner Plumbing & Heating picked up immediately.
Obviously there is going to be a call out charge, it’s Saturday. James politely asked questions to understand what had happened, explained the prices, and was here within 30 minutes. He took less than another 30 minutes to fix our problem and left. Quality of work, professional, pipe work sealed, explained what he had done, all neat and tidy, polite and friendly and his partner fussed over my dogs (always a plus in my books). Would not hesitate to recommend James, keeping number in case partner decides to do this again

James recently replaced my ageing Glow-Worm boiler and Boilermate, with a new Baxi Boiler and Cylinder. I also opted to have the nest thermostat installed. As per the plan, it took 3 days to complete, and I'm more than delighted with the final result. I now have a reliable heating system with plenty of hot water. James did a very neat and professional job with the installation and was always more than happy to answer my questions. Great follow-up service too. A great job all round!
