James Lewis Plumbing & Heating

James was contracted to me through a 3rd party boiler replacement company, who I purchased a combi boiler conversion from. I would never have booked James personally. On day 1 he never showed up due to a flat tyre. When he does show up he arrives late. Day 2 he did not arrive till almost 3pm, despite ringing beforehand stating "on the way" etc since early in the morning. On the third day after he was apparently unwell which resulted in being without hot water for 3 days, really he just wanted to pick up the tools he had left. If he had arrived on time on day 2 I probably would not have had to see him again. There were multiple items that James did not do as per the boiler companies FAQ's, I was left to resolve these myself as James is just a book of excuses. With my experience I am left of the opinion James in incompetent, untrustworthy and unreliable. James had no accountability for his actions and did not apologise once. I was left to seek compensation through the boiler company.

Fantastic job done by James and his gang .First class job .He has refitted our bathroom and replaced a water heater ,I can't fault him .The only downside is he is really busy but that must bear testiment to his work .Fully recommend.

I called james out to repair my boiler he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the problem was straight away! He returned the next day with the parts. Was very professional and cleaned up everything as soon as they were done. Would highly recommend!!

Had an issue with a Flexible Hose that was leaking in the bathroom and called James for advice. Sent the detail of the issue and within minutes James got back with a very competitive price and said that he would be with me within 20 minutes to complete the job. Literally 50 minutes after contacting James the Job was completed and I could then get on with my day. Great service and work completed to a very high standard.

James fixed a water leak in my kitchen ceiling after another company had failed to do so. He was professional and competent and did the job within an hour having turned up with all the necessary tools, pipework and an apprentice!
I would not hesitate in using him in the future
