James Coutts Driving School, since being estblished in 1997, has continuously had a pass rate well above the national average.

Lessons are given in a dual controlled, air conditioned Kia Ceed.

Lessons can be 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours in duration, depending on the client's requirements.

I pride myself on being patient and friendly and aim to offer the highest quality instruction and training at a fair price, rather than offering gimmicky introductory discounts, where the majority of the time is spent talking at the side of the road.

I also offer post test training in the form of motorway tuition, defensive driving and fuel efficiency training. I have been a fully qualified Fleet Trainer since 2005.

I operate in the Kirkcaldy, Dysart, Glenrothes, Burntisland and Levenmouth areas for Learner Driver tuition, but cover Fife, Lothians, Central, Tayside, Lanarkshire and Glasgow for Fleet and Fuel Efficiency training.

Excellent attention to detail best instructor around

What can I say, James made learning to drive so easy and after only a few lessons with him I understood driving a lot better than with previous instructors. I highly recommend James to anyone. He brakes down the driving in simple easy to remember steps, little tips and tricks I’ll now remember the rest of my life.

James got me passed my theory and passed ma test first time he is brilliant to learn how to drive , all removers u get wrong he’s the person how to get it done on first go brilliant Instuctor thanks for your help James !
