My first session with James didn't stay on topic. I was clear to highlight the sexual and family orientated appropriateness of my complaint but despite this, we spent a lot of the time focused on matters I had already done plenty of research on. I was specifically looking to cover repression and mentioned the physiological trauma that remains deeply embedded. James had decided that my circumstances were better suited Psychiatry and recommended a Psychiatrist despite my reservations and former experience of their advising drugs to depress the mental state rather than to identify and resolve the repressed memory. This was considered an expensive consultation where no introductory discount or meeting was afforded.
