sadly an evening out with colleagues was spoilt by the attitude of one staff member. having ordered a bottle of prosseco to return the favour of work friends, I was ignored. I can only assume that there were none left in the bar fridge but I will never know as instead of coming back to inform me what was happening with my order she served another customer with a cocktail. I was left standing at the bar watching her move on to the next customer, so after 5 minutes I gave up.

I don't think I would have ever imagined venturing in this pub if it wasn't for a mate's birthday. It always appears packed with students and I don't have the patience to wait for ages to get served. Anyway; to my surprise it really is a lovely pub. Yes, it is busy - but at least there's a reason for it: the best cocktails in town!!! There is a huge choice of cocktails which make it really hard to decide... so you might as well try a few! They are quite expensive though, but they are cocktails so it is to be expected. They do seemed to do offers so it is worth checking them out even if you're on a small budget. I would recommend this pub, especially if you're up for some partying!!

The Orange Tree is a chain of pubs in Leicester, Nottingham & Loughborough. They specialize in cocktails but also serve food. Prices of cocktails aren't too bad but mainly if you're buying in bulk by buying one of the cocktails jugs. As for the food it is not bad and they serve very tasty sandwiches. Over the summer months on a weekend they'll usually have a BBQ in the back so if you're a student in halls this is your chance to have a nice BBQ!! It does get rather busy in the evenings and it can take a while to get served as cocktails aren't the quickest drinks to make. Overall a very recommended place though with a lovely atmosphere.

As a student this was one of my favorite pubs! The place is packed with students so if you are one as well you will have a great time. On the other side if you're looking for a nice quiet place where you could go for a drink then avoid the Orange Tree! I highly recommend their cocktails, especially if you're going with some mates get a pitcher to share as they are great value. They also vary with different offers throughout the year so it's always nice to go back there and try something different. Generally I'd recommend this pub on a night out before clubbing; or a great place to go out for drinks to celebrate a birthday or end of exams!!

The Orange Tree is a great place when a few of you want a drink and place just to have a laugh.
The place looks welcoming and the seats are comfortable and there is something relaxing about the place to other upbeat pubs.

The pub attracts many of the university students so dont expect it to be quiet but its just a good place to sit down and chill out.

The prices here are competitive with the rest of the town, some place are a tad cheaper because of the offers they hold regualary but thats about it.
Personally i would recomend the Orange Tree as a stop on a night out.
