Jade Plaice is a family run business whose principle is to deliver the best possible take-away to their customers. All of our dishes use very little oil and are cooked with strict health and safety considerations in mind. With nearly 20 years of fruitful experience, we aim to provide the best quality take-away possible for our customers. Your food is always cooked fresh to order and all ingredients are sourced locally & fresh. All of our fish are caught from the North Atlantic sea sustainably to make our fish as tasty and ethical as possible. The food standards agency has expressed their satisfaction at our standards of hygiene and safety through their rating of 5/5, very good.
Our extensive menu and list of set dinners are designed to provide a memorable and delicious meal for everyone. If the dish isn't on the menu, we're always happy to meet all reasonable requests.

Awful curry
1New shop, now called the Jade Plaice. Totally different!
5Since these bad reviews, the shop has been taken over by a different team last year. Their name is now Jade Plaice, the whole shop has been renovated and the food is sourced elsewhere from before. They now do Chinese and Thai as well as fish and chips. Their food tastes very good and I highly recommend for you to go and have a try :-)! Ihave already requested for this page to be removed from their google page, I hope this helps you out.
