Jack's Fish Bar

I have never been served anything as bad as the XXXX that was served to me here.When I opened the bag the paper the food was wrapped in was drenched in oil,so much oil that if I squeezed the oil into a barrel I could have sold it to oil companies.The doner kebab did not look or taste good and the salad consisted of 1 slice of cucumber 1 slice of tomato and 1 piece of rotten lettuce and lots of white cabbage.The chips of course were very oily and tasted like they were cooked in old car engine oil and the cod was as tough as old boots and very oily, the colour was an off putting dark brown probably because it was cooked in old oil, after chipping my way into the batter with a hammer and chisel I found there was hardly any cod.We couldn't eat anything that was delivered and put it where it belonged,in the bin as it was not fit for human consumption.I won't be ordering from here again,not unless my car needs an oil change because the oil they give you with your food here is cheap as chips.

That has got to be the worst kebab I’ve ever had the misfortune to try. I can’t even begin to describe the taste and texture. I know kebabs aren’t healthy, but for a Friday night treat, they can be truly naughty but nice. Jacks in Rainham is god dame awful. Totally ruined my Friday evening 😞

Late delivery, cod full of inch long bones (lazy owners/ workers) and hard/dry, chips were greasy and brown and food was/is generally overpriced. Tried once, never again. Avoid like a plague!

Went to chippy and realise it was empty for a reason. I ordered chips & sausage when I eventually opened it I ate a couple of chips thinking to myself NO can't do it. Should have guessed It was empty at lunchtime and dirty.

I ordered 2 large haddock to be shared between 4 teenagers who's birthday it was, they delivered to my house with other things ordered OMG ! They would not even have passed as small/medium I could not believe It, if it had not been for all the other things that came too for this birthday I would have rung them to come andcollect them, I was so embarrassed to be dishing these up, £4.90 each, would I order again, 'I don't think so!.
