We needed to change existing internal doors and the supply and fit of new wooden doors (some partially glazed) throughout our home, 10 doors in total. We found 3 local carpenters and got a quote from each. J.Racher Carpentry & Building were prompt in coming out, and equally prompt in quoting. It was immediately apparent that he knew what we needed and, along with his quote, he sent photos of what he was suggesting which was helpful and appreciated. Because of this, and also because of a fair price, we opted to go with him.

From the start his communication was very good, we knew exactly what and when. He arrived when he said he would, similarly on the second day; he was friendly, courteous and was focused on the work. The quality of his work, his attention to detail, his flexibility and general cleanliness was excellent. He completed the work within the agreed timescale and we are delighted with the outcome. A highly professional job - we would definitely recommend this company!

Jim and the team have recently completed 2 patios, piquet fence and replacing a normal fence. They are friendly, good value for money and get the job done. Would recommend and would use again.

Jim and his colleague were the only ones who actually turned up to do a quote for my patio. He came within 2 days and I had a quote by the next day. Once agreed, work was done the week after and was completed to a high standard and in very good time (it was a porcelain patio and very large) They both left everything tidy after each day and it was a pleasure having them do the work.
