5Money for Nothing
1This Client instructed us to undertake the commission, we visited site, discussed the scheme and took all necessary measurements and it was only on our return to the office that the Client confirmed they no longer wanted to proceed with their structural alterations. They were therefore invoiced only to cover our direct costs and time spent on site which they initially refused to pay. As we pointed out to the Client we had undertaken part of the commission in good faith and were only requesting our costs. The Client is unhappy because they instructed abortive work which they did not want to pay for.
